Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Warsaw, Poland



As Quality Assurance Engineer you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary Agile team, with team-shared responsibility for quality and effectiveness of the software which process and localize large amounts of e-commerce listings.

  • You will provide quality assurance knowledge to the team,
  • You will define processes and activities to build quality in our product,
  • You will support and challenge developers to provide better code and solutions,
  • You will perform continuous risk analysis to find weak points of designed features from technical and business point of view,
  • You will define new and use existing methods of Quality Assurance, beginning from requirements review and unit test, up to live monitoring of production processes,
  • You will design and implement test automation in collaboration and with support from the development team



Must have

  • 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance team
  • Quality Assurance against Quality Control approach
  • Strong skills in risk analysis and test design
  • Knowledge in automation testing and performance testing
  • Strong research and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Linux and SQL databases
  • Good knowledge of English


Nice to have

  • Experience with code development practices
  • UX and usability testing experience
  • Experience in NoSQL databases like: MongoDB, Cassandra or similar
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, ELB, EBS)
  • Experience in using containers (Docker)
  • Experience in coding in Python
  • Experience in SOA and message queues (like RabbitMQ)
  • Experience in working in Agile environment
