We believe that any manual work related to testing is less efficient and more error prone than tests that have been properly automated. Automation is the responsibility of every team member and if manual testing is required, it can be done by virtually anyone in the team.

 

Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Warsaw, Inflancka 4a

 

As Quality Assurance Engineer you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary Agile team, with team-shared responsibility for quality and effectiveness of the software which process and localize large amounts of e-commerce listings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will provide quality assurance knowledge to the team.
  • You will define processes and activities to build quality in our product.
  • You will support and challenge developers to provide better code and solutions.
  • You will perform continuous risk analysis to find weak points of designed features from technical and business point of view.
  • You will define new and use existing methods of Quality Assurance, beginning from requirements review and unit test, up to live monitoring of production processes.
  • You will design and implement quality control tools (incl. tests) in collaboration and with support from the development team.


 

MUST HAVE

  • 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance team
  • Quality Assurance against Quality Control approach
  • Passionate about how to provide best possible quality in a most efficient way
  • Strong skills in risk analysis and test design
  • Knowledge in automation testing and performance testing
  • Strong research and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Linux and SQL/noSQL databases
  • Experience with code development practices
  • Experience in working in Agile environment
  • Good command of English

NICE TO HAVE

  • UX and usability testing experience
  • Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, ELB, EBS)
  • Experience in using containers (Docker)
  • Experience in coding in Python
  • Experience in SOA and message queues (like RabbitMQ)
